Breakfast Buffet: Derrick Williams still undecided on NBA draft

1. Like Harrison Barnes at North Carolina, Derrick Williams appears to be in no rush to make a decision about entering the NBA draft even though the Arizona sophomore would likely be a top-five pick if he declares. "I would anticipate that the decision would be more toward the deadline of April 24 than two days from now," Arizona coach Sean Miller told the Tucson Citizen.

2. You may remember the name Matt Kravchuk, the former Holy Family University basketball player who gained national attention after his coach knocked him to the floor during a practice in January. Well, he was arrested Wednesday night during a Phillies game after he allegedly stole two alcoholic beverages from a concession stand inside Citizens Bank Park.

3. The Morris twins' not-so-shocking decision to sign with an agent and enter the NBA draft presents a huge opportunity for Thomas Robinson to become Kansas' centerpiece in the paint next season. Robinson was the first big man off the bench for the Jayhawks this year, but he should be a potential double-double threat every game in the future.

4. Miami's coaching search to replace Frank Haith will be a test of the school's commitment to fielding a winning basketball program. As CBSSports.com's Gary Parrish reports, all signs are that Kansas State's Frank Martin would be interested in returning home to Miami at the right price, yet the Hurricanes so far seem to be looking at other cheaper yet less accomplished candidates.

5. As if Wake Forest basketball doesn't have enough problems these days, the Providence Journal reported Thursday that new Friars coach Ed Cooley is working on luring Demon Deacons assistant Jeff Battle. That would be a huge loss for Wake Forest and a huge coup for Providence because Battle is among the most respected assistants in the nation and is responsible for many of the Demon Deacons' top recruits in recent years.

Rice's Arsalan Kazemi, the first Iranian to play college basketball in the United States, had a breakout sophomore season for the Owls, averaging 15.2 points and 11 boards per game. In the above video segment, he discusses his adjustment to the college game and his hopes of one day playing in the NBA.

"I thought next year's team would be really special if I were to return. I think we have five recruits coming in with the addition of DeAndre Daniels. So that would be really special because that would give me the chance to lead the team similar to what Kemba Walker has done at UConn. ? ex-Duke guard Kyrie Irving, perhaps dropping a big hint that unsigned senior DeAndre Daniels will join Duke next year.
