2011 NFL Mock Draft: Full 1st-Round Picks, Anthony Castonzo to Giants?

2011 NFL Mock Draft Has New York Giants Needing to Bolster O-Line

 Anthony Castonzo is not only the second-best offensive lineman in the draft, he fills a need for the New York Football Giants, with above-average pass blocking skills and the consistency to develop into a strong run-blocker for them, as well. The Giants would be very pleased to see the Boston College standpoint fall to them at No. 19.

Grabbing someone like Mike Pouncey of Florida to fill the center spot also makes sense, given Shaun O?Hara, Rich Seubert and Adam Koets are all reaching the end of their contracts and the position could be very thin soon. 

But Castonzo is in the first tier along with USC?s Tyron Smith in my mind, and Pouncey is in the third tier behind Wisconsin?s Gabe Carimi and Colorado?s Nate Solder. It?s hard to pass up Castonzo if he falls here.
