2011 NFL Mock Draft: All 32 1st Round Picks, Green Bay Packers on the Clock

NFL Draft 2011 Green Bay Packers Grab Clay Matthews 2.0

The Green Bay Packers boast one of the elite defensive players in the league in Clay Matthews, who lost by a hair to Pittsburgh?s Troy Polamalu in the Defensive Player of the Year voting last season.

The Super Bowl Champs are on the clock and need to upgrade their pass-rush in a rapidly improving NFC North division.

Arizona?s Brooks Reed is one of my safer players in the class as he has a fantastic work ethic, drive and on-field motor. He has great pass-rushing abilities, which resemble Matthews?, making him a fantastic player to pair with the Packers? top pass-rusher.

Together, they will create mayhem for opposing quarterbacks as it will be impossible to stop both of them. They will lead this defensive unit to become one of the best in the league and could take the team back to the Super Bowl.
