NFL Draft 2011: Ras-I Dowling and the Top Cornerback Sleepers in the Draft

NFL teams can never have enough corner depth. More and more teams utilize three and four wide receiver sets with greater frequency, and that means it is important for defenses to have nickel and dime corners that aren't going to get toasted.

There really are few things more frustrating then watching the defense of the team you are rooting for have a corner get victimized play after play.

All of this means if a team has a chance to draft a corner that can play they should draft them—especially in the latter rounds.

I am going to take a look at some corners that should be available in the mid to late rounds that have a chance to make a real difference on Sundays.

Some of these guys like Ras-I Dowling are down on the list, because they weren't on the field for enough of the 2011 season, and others either played at a smaller school or lack the measurables that garner them enough attention to go in the early rounds.

So stay right here to check out my cornerback sleepers, and share your thoughts on these guys or some sleepers of your own.

And in the meantime, check out our NFL Draft Center for all draft news, analysis and discussion.
