2011 NFL Mock Draft: Philadelphia Eagles Has Offensive Line Flaws to Address

Mock Draft Fills Michael Vick?s Need For More Pass Protection

No. 23 Mock Draft Pick: Anthony Castonzo, OT, Boston College

The Philadelphia Eagles, led by a rejuvenated Michael Vick was hands-down the most explosive offensive team in the NFL.

They had big playmakers in LeSean McCoy, DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin.  At times, they seemed unstoppable but in other games, their offensive line was exposed as their biggest flaw.

Brian Billick of FOX Sports says, ?Offensively, they might address the right side of their line seeing that 2006 second-round draft pick tackle Winston Justice struggled mightily against Green Bay?s Clay Matthews. Picking at No. 23, the Eagles will have some options and will most likely take the best available talent??

Castonzo comes from a Boston College program known for producing quality NFL linemen and more importantly, projects as someone that can immediately start on the right side and move to the left tackle position with more years of experience

Billick adds: ?That part of the draft [No. 23] may be exactly when we start to see a run of offensive lineman come off the board. I think they jump on the chance to get a top-three tackle prospect and address the secondary with another of their five picks in the first four rounds.?

Big tackles like Costanzo, 6'7", 311 lbs., are valuable for a team like Eagles, who expect to be in the playoff hunt again once the season resumes.
