Miami Heat: Dwyane Wade Comes Up Short in Game 6 of 2011 NBA Finals for Heat

Miami Heat Star Dwyane Wade Puts Up Dud in Game 6 of 2011 NBA Finals vs Dallas Mavericks

The Miami Heat had all sorts of problems in the NBA Finals.

LeBron James this, Chris Bosh that, but rarely was Dwyane Wade ever criticised.

Even after his sub-par performance in the 105-95 Game Six clinching loss to the Dallas Mavericks, Wade has largely avoided the criticism.

All of the blame is being placed on LeBron for his disappearing act in the fourth quarter of almost the entire series. The Mavs outscored the Heat by 24 when James was on the floor in Sunday's Game Six.

But Wade was just as bad. He had an NBA Finals career low 17 points on an atrocious 6-of-16 from the floor. He filled up the stat sheet with eight rebounds, six assists and two blocks, but he came up short when it mattered most.

He realized the rest of his team was offering him no help and he decided to take matters into his own hands. The result was plenty of forced shots and little success.

He didn't come through when his team needed him most and now the Heat face a long and painful offseason of second guessing and finger pointing...with almost all of it going towards LeBron, Bosh and coach Erik Spolestra.

Sure LeBron was the goat of the series, but his partner-in-crime Wade threw up the dud in the most crucial game of the series.

But you'll never know that judging by the way LeBron will be getting crushed over the next four months.
