Wanna Talk to Bill Self on Skype? Head Over to eBay

On the heels of being nominated for the first United Nations NGO Positive Peace Awards, Kansas coach Bill Self is continuing his charitable ways in an unconventional manner. Starting Wednesday, Self is auctioning off a fifteen minute Christmas Eve Skype conversation on eBay.

The important thing to realize and appreciate here (outside of the whole philanthropy thing, I guess) is that the actual conversation will either be very awkward or very hilarious. And, given the circumstances, it will probably be the former. Really, that's all anyone could ask for. Well, that and some sort of footage of the conversation.

As of Wednesday night, Self's price was sitting at $330. And if this turns out being a gift for some blue-blood Jayhawk fan, that sure puts a lot of pressure on the poor soul. Because, realistically, the first 12 minutes will be mostly uncomfortable pleasantries and "ums." Maybe a Josh Selby question, but the winner will really have to be on top of his game to have that much wherewithal. Plus, Self is admittedly pedestrian in matters of technology, so there could be some technical difficulties, as well.
