2011 NBA Mock Draft: Hot Trade Rumors and Top Prospects Moving Up the Board

Even with the lottery completed for the 2011 NBA draft, the order of picks may not be finalized yet. From almost the moment the lottery ended, rumors started circulating about teams trying to deal their picks.

The most heated speculation has surrounded the No. 2 overall pick, currently held by the Minnesota Timberwolves. If Kyrie Irving goes first overall as expected, Minnesota would be left with a pick that seems earmarked for Arizona forward Derrick Williams, whom they may not want.

Williams is a terrific all-around forward, with scoring, rebounding and shot-blocking ability. Unfortunately for Minnesota, he’s not big enough to move to center, leaving him to compete with the T’Wolves’ two best players, PF Kevin Love and SF Michael Beasley.

Any number of teams might be interested in trading with Minnesota to obtain Williams’ considerable talents, but will a deal go through? And what will it take to pry the pick away from the Timberwolves?

Read on for a look at all the latest buzz on picks to be traded and players to be picked in the 2011 draft.
