NFL Draft 2011: Cleveland Browns Could Trade Picks with Tennessee Titans

Cleveland Browns May Trade Down Two Spots if Quarterback Slides

The Cleveland Browns are a team that may end up having a luxury selection. If Blaine Gabbert or another luxury-type player falls to the sixth overall spot, then a lot of teams are going to want to trade with the Browns.

The Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings are two teams in the middle of the oder that need a quarterback, and them trading up is as likely as trading down. I see one team that could make a strong push as well, and that is the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans are in glaring need of a quarterback, as Vince Young's days are done and Kerry Collins is old. However, there may not be a quarterback to take with their pick in the second round, sans Colin Kaepernick who could be a reach that high.

AS a result, if Gabbert's available for the Browns at number six, expect a trade, which will work out for both sides. Cleveland will get a nice second pick, and whoever they want to select will still be there at number eight (except Patrick Peterson).

James Walker considers the Browns and Titans as a potential trade as well, and it fits well enough that it's really an easy trade to make, so long as the Browns get a decent extra pick.
