Duke No. 1 as AP Poll Stays Still at Top

For the fourth straight week, Duke, Ohio State and Kansas claimed the top three spots of the AP poll. Duke was again a unanimous selection at No. 1, as the Blue Devils have been nearly all season (Ohio State grabbed one first-place vote a few weeks back). Duke has been No. 1 in both polls all season.

Syracuse, Pittsburgh, San Diego State and Villanova all moved up a spot, ranking No. 4 through No. 7. Connecticut, Missouri and Kentucky rounded out the top 10.

Washington, Cincinnati and UNLV all moved in at the bottom of the poll, replacing Minnesota, Louisville and Temple. Washington and UNLV were ranked previously this year but had fallen out.

Movement in the poll was all very minor, as the biggest drop was four spots (UConn and Georgetown) and the highest riser was Illinois (up three spots).

With conference play heating up, bigger shakeups could certainly be on the horizon, and there are many games pitting ranked teams against each other this week.
