AFC South: Summing Up the Division's Defining Moments of 2010

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts' loss to the New York Jets this past Saturday leaves the AFC South without a playoff team entering the divisional playoff round.

That's the first time that has happened in the division's nine seasons.

So, with the South's season over unusually early, Fanhouse this week will begin looking ahead and looking back at the division. We won't look back for long, and will begin soon looking at free agency, and what each team will do in the offseason.

But for today, let's take a look at the key moments that defined the AFC South in 2010:

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (10-6)

Synopsis: A better season than many will ever believe. The Colts overcame placing 18 players on injured reserve and extended absences from key players to make an NFL record-tying ninth consecutive postseason appearance. The Colts got the most from what was available this season, and were a play away from playing in the divisional playoff round for a seventh time in eight seasons.
