2011 NFL Draft: Where Did Blaine Gabbert Come From?
After an outstanding Insight Bowl performance against Iowa, Blaine Gabbert has emerged as a legitimate quarterback prospect in the NFL Draft.
He threw for 434 yards and completed nearly 72 percent of his passes in the game.
During his junior season, Gabbert threw for 3,186 yards 19 touchdowns and nine interceptions. While those numbers don?t leap off the page, he is a fantastic prospect that is probably the most complete quarterback in this draft right now.
He isn?t the one-season-wonder that Cam Newton, he makes better decisions than Ryan Mallett or Jake Locker, and he is actually headed to the draft unlike Andrew Luck.
