Memphis Tigers Vent, Channel Tim Tebow After Loss to Kansas

For most teams, dropping a game to No. 4 Kansas on a neutral floor would not elicit too much of a negative response. No. 13 Memphis, however, took its first loss of the season pretty hard, for some reason.

Taking to Twitter and speaking to the media upon returning Wednesday morning, Tiger players voiced their frustration and made some pretty lofty, if not familiar, promises.

"Nobody cares about us. Nobody cares how young we are. Nobody cares about that number we have in front of our name. I figured that out as soon as I started playing college basketball. This is a business now," lone senior Will Coleman told the Memphis Commercial-Appeal Wednesday. "Everybody wants to get paid. Everybody wants to get drafted. Regardless if it's now or on down the line, it's always going to be somebody better or somebody trying to take your spot or minutes or whatever."

Oh dear, Will.
